St.Teresa’s Mission of Koilamati (Assam) was inaugurated on 13th November 2009 in the diocese of Diphu. Koilamati is situated in KharbiAnglong (East) district in Assam. This mission is carved out of 12 villages of Chkiola and 3 villages of Silonigen parishes with 253 families. Now it has 16 village chapels. They are almost entirely Christian population. The faithful belong to Adivasi and Kharbi communities.
