It was our great desire to have the novitiate house since 1980 after the separation from the Malabar Province. Our fathers were in search of a beautiful and a lonely place and God willed it in the Punalur Diocese at Perumkulam. After our father’s prayers and hard work our dream was fulfilled on 14th of December 1989. It was blessed by His Excellency Rt. Rev. Dr. Mathias Kappil then the Bishop of Punalur and was inaugurated by Very. Rev. Fr. Athanasius D Almedia, then the Definitor General of our Order. At present we have 5 fathers and 13 novices in the community.
