Silver Jubilee celebration

South Kerala Province rejoices with Rev. Fr. Marcel Fernandez OCD and Fr. Justin Dixon OCD Who through their celebration of 25th year of religious profession witness to live the joy of the Gospel in our Teresian way of life.
“Whoever has God lacks nothing; God alone suffices”. (St. Teresa of Avila); with this motivating words Fr. Justin Dixon OCD hosted his Silver Jubilee Celebration on 4th January 2018 at Grosseto, Italy, and Fr. Marcel Fernandez OCD hosted his Silver Jubilee Celebration on 3rd January 2018 at Dupguri.
Fr. Marcel Fernandez OCD hosted his Silver Jubilee Celebration on 3rd January 2018 at Stella Maris Ashram, Dhupguri, his Jubilee day. There was solemn Mass by 11.30 am. There was a good participation of the diocesan and religious priests, Rev. Sisters representing different communities and the parishioners from Dudua. Rev. Sr. Mary, his relative missionary in West Bengal also came to enhance our joy. Fr. Maxon gave a nice introduction and Fr. Xavier Jayaraj OCD preached. Our aspirants of Plus Two arranged the liturgy and sang beautifully. There was felicitation meeting after the Holy Mass in which representatives of the diocese, communities and parish remembered the noble service he rendered, the cordiality he keeps and sociability. We remembered his Great service he rendered as Regional Vicar of our Mission unit. Then we had the Agape.
